Hello, on 30 of june we left to Portugal to the Algarve for 7 days. We went by airplain and it was very nice to see the view from the window. We arrived at the airport two hours later in Faro. We had rented a small car and drove to Portimao. After an hour of driving we arrived at the hotel Mirachoro in the evening. My brother and I had oure own room. There was a kitchenette, a salon with TV, a large bedroom, and a bathroom. We went to bed, and had a wonderfull night's rest!

We also walked to the beach, the beach was 2 km from our hotel. There were cozy cafes, restaurants and shops beside the sea. Tipical disches are chicken piri piri, sardines and delicious for desert: Pastéis de Belém and tropical fruit. My brother and I liked it a lot, but my parents were most of the time lying on their towels, reading their books instead of sliding with us. There were a lot of slides and huge pools in the park. My favorite attraction was the big wave, in the beginning I was a little bit scared but it was funny. It was realy amazing to see the rocks. We even sailed under the rocks , and it was amazing to have done this! In the middle of our boat trip we were allowed to jump into the water to swim in the beautiful sea. It was special to do this,and afther all very refreshing. However I was a little scared of the big fish. Luckily I didn't feel one. We also visited the port of Portimao. We made a walk of 10 km. We were the onely walkers at that time. We have gone wrong a few times, but finally we find our car back. The man in the single bar of the village, didn't speak one word of Engilsh. But we  succeeded to order some drinks after the long walk. It is situated of the most west side of Portugal. My grandparents also went there a few years ago. We went snorkeling between the rocks under water. It was very beautiful and colurful under water.
