Description: Salvador Dali, The Persistence of Memory, Oil painting on canvas, Surrealism. Analysis: He used a wide variety of colors, Form is being used around the area of the clock, their is space in the background, and there is also some different value/intensity of the brown used on the ground. -Kayla Alessi

Description: Diego Rivera, Las Sandias (The Watermelons), It was modern art and social realism, it was an oil painting with sand mixed into the paint to give it a lifelike texture

Analysis: Diego Rivera uses a blend of reds to mix them together to make the watermelons look more realistic. You can see the brushstrokes on the table mixing the greens and browns. Value is used in this painting with the mirror in the back and the rug giving the painting depth. There is also some texture on the rug with the lines painted on it.

Edit: I forgot to add my name on this lol
- Daisy Rios
