         <description><![CDATA[<div>it helps us understand that in the holocaust EVERYONE knew it was wrong. if they thought what they were doing was right the commanding officer never would have asked if they could do it. and the soldiers never would have walked away or felt guilty about it afterwards. the idea that they were "just following orders" i believe should be no excuse. because every single one of them was aware of their actions and they made the conscious choice to kill innocent people. if man 1 told man 2 to kill someone and he did it would you only arrest man 1? of course not. it doesn't take much effort NOT to kill people. and the holocaust shows us that while there can be absolutely amazing humans in the world it displayed the true dark depths that humans can sink to.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>When someone believes what they are doing is right, and they push others to do the same, if someone is charismatic enough they could create a large following that will usually do anything for them, this one person who believed that Germany had been taken advantage of after some of the issues it created allowed him to grow in power. Some Germans knew it was wrong to do some of the disturbing things that happened but what could they do, if they went to the U.S. they would be killed on sight </div>]]></description>
