Louisiana is in the Southeast region in the United States. Choosing this location was a good idea because not only is it warm all year around, but it is bordered by water, has fertile soil, and many others. One example of a resource that is available are semi- permeable soil. Also, the climate is warm all year round so it's perfect for growing crops all year.
