in the video explains about recognizing the types of stereotypes which include age, gender, class, race and social. A stereotype is a socially shared collection of traits that characterize members of a social category. There are types of stereotypes you need to know:

-Ageism or Age Streotype are stereotypes and discrimination against people based on their age these are some of the things parents like calmness, the older you are, the more mature you are. but there are also those who are still young need peace too.

-Racial Stereotype is a false belief about racial characteristics which says that African Americans are the toughest boxers, it doesn't really exist. Every race has its own personality.

-Gender Stereotype is about the role that girls and boys have to take. Saying that every teacher's job is only good for girls is an example of gender stereotypes, and there are also those who think that men are the backbone and women are not as smart as men, a girl is not. good at sports, and men are messy while women are not. remember both men and women can do all the work. This social stereotype is also inaccurate about social characteristics, which are often related to rich or poor, education and achievements that have been achieved. For example, when we immediately ask a friend to pay for food because his family has a car, it is not true because having a car does not mean he is rich.

my opinion about the video, we should not prejudice a person based solely on the perception of the group in which that person can be categorized or prejudiced by others, whether about race, gender, age and other social matters. both positive and negative. therefore this is why we must be careful with our assumptions so as not to treat others unfairly.

Reflection (50 words or more): What you have learned or the problems you have during extensive listening, how did you deal with to solve the problems

the problem is in the speaker's pronunciation because of the accent, the speed of the speaker in conveying the material, and the new vocabulary and I don't understand the meaning. the way I solved the problem was to turn on the subtitles, repeat what I was listening to and note down the new vocabulary and then use google translate to figure out the meaning.
