         <description><![CDATA[<ul><li>81% are specifically concerned about their personal finances. </li><li>Nearly 8-in-10 consumers are visiting fewer retail businesses </li><li>45% are now using online shopping</li><li>65% have now reduced their spending in non-essential items, and more people focused on grocery shopping and stocking up on food. </li><li>People are feeling the uncertainty, cutting back on spending and putting more towards saving. Fifty-nine percent plan to save more.</li><li>Consumers are rethinking travel. Eighty-five percent of respondents have cancelled or are considering cancelling travel abroad this year.</li><li>More than half (51%)have delayed, or are considering delaying, a vehicle purchase.</li><li>46% of the respondents are facing financial problems due to the pandemic. (Romania) </li><li>56% of the respondents are very concerned about losing their job from a survey conducted </li><li>62% of the respondents agrees that their income has had negative impact due to COVID-19	</li><li>New order of demand and supply coupled with uncertainty forcing consumption rolled back to Maslow’s primary level needs, that is, need for ‘food’, ‘clothes’, ‘shelter’, safe indoors, social love and belongingness for all socio-economic classes alike, irrespective of segment type.  </li></ul><div><br></div>]]></description>

We want to see results as soon as we have gathered and analyzed the data of consumers behavior in the country.<br> <br>We want to see the results after 2 months. For the first two weeks, we will be giving out the surveys and analyzing how this could help us answer our research problem.          <description><![CDATA[<div>Similar situations exist in different continents/countries like the USA, India and Romania wherein they are greatly affected by the pandemic.<br><br>Another similar situation could be the 2014-2015 Ebola outbreak which began in West Africa that spread throughout urban areas and further reached other parts of Africa, Europe, and the United States within weeks. Thus becoming a global epidemic. It may not be as severe as Covid-19 but it made great changes between economic and environmental sustainability that affected businesses to go through recession.</div>]]></description>
