He never spoke, but one day (this day, right before this picture happened) he reached up and held my hand.  I hear the sweet singing of my mom and the guitar that she so naturally plays. 
 I see the incredible love, strength, and support that surrounds me in my life. 
 I want to show others love and to make them feel important.

 I pretend to feel strong and optimistic even on days that are hard to feel the good.  
 I feel inspired by new places and new people. 
 I touch the lives around me (or so I hope).
 I worry about the happiness and well-being of others. 
 I cry when I feel the empty places of the loved ones in my life who have passed away.
 I am empathetic and amiable. 

 I understand that we all experience things differently. 
 I say that love, kindness, and understanding are always the best solution. 
 I dream of traveling and reuniting with people and places that have stolen my heart.
 I try to stay open-minded and to think before I speak. 
 I hope to spread joy and inspiration wherever I may go, and to find those things, as well.
