My claim is that schools should relax the cell phone policies. My evidence is on the passage "News Debate: Cell Phone Scramble." In the text it states, " Kids can use cell phones to take pictures, chat, surf the Web, and listen to music. Those features can distract students during the school day." (News Debate: Call phone Scramble, No Cell Phone before the Bell, 2009) This supports my claim that schools should relax the cell phone policies since kids get easily distracted on their phones. Also based on a true event that happened, a young girl in Middle school committed suicide since she was getting bullied so much because of a phone. People were Cyber bullying her on their phones by taking photos of her without her permission which made her commit suicide because of this problem with the cell-phones.

1. It will educate children about real-world issues (life in war zones, suicide, child abuse) and increase their empathy for people who have suffered.

2. Simulating violence such as shooting guns and hand-to-hand combat in video games can cause real-life violent behavior. ( britannacia 2025)

This is why I think teens should be able to play violent games! 🌴

I think that schools should calm down on letting kids have their ones but they should still have SOME restrictions. I think this because people say that kids will text and use their phone in class and that is why I said SOME rules. I also think that schools should calm down because in the text is states " Grace Hurley, 13, an eighth grader from Yorktown Heights, New York, agrees." "We should be able to carry our cell phones in school because we may need the contact our parents in emergencies!"( News Debate: Call phone Scramble, No Cell Phone Before the Bell, 2009)

In conclusion teens should be able to play violent games.

E-This shows that people should not wear pajamas in public because when you are going to a meeting and you want to wear pajamas you will be fired.

S- As you can see Pajamas should be banned because the pubic don't like pajamas and they don't like people wearing pajamas outside.

it gives kids many opportunities to cheat, cyber bullying, and gossip phones can be addictive and students can be texting and getting distracted during lessons and even though cell phone can help people keep in contact students like to cheat and text their friend during lesson and fail. Students should only put their phone in their pocket if someone calls like a family so they can go out of the classroom and see and. Also kids cyber bullied and can cause the student to be depressed and very sad and worse they can kill themselves because how badly the cyber bullying happened to them

"Sadly, students may use phone to take photos of other kids doing something awkward and text the picture to friends." this shows people like to cyber bullying and make fun of people for no reason

"It can lead to emotional and physical harm, loss of self-esteem, feelings of shame and anxiety, concentration and learning difficulties"

this shows how people can get anxiety and make it difficult for them to learn like they do before.

Call To Action: we should keep the policies and don't let students fail, cyber bullied, and to cheat.

Some video games can link to mild forms of aggression. University assistant professor is conduction his long term study on video games effects youth violence and bullying. The California teen told reporters " I see video in video games an outlet to violence and stress."

Schools should not ban cell phones in school because cell phones might be smarter for the classroom than you think! Schools should allow them to carry their phones because, if managed properly, the phones can enhance and become valuable learning tools, while keeping students safe and in contact with their parents.

Call to action: We should keep the policies and don't let students fail and cyber bully.

Why I believe schools should pay students to go to school, students have to wake up very early to catch the bus, wait shortly for school hours to begin, and do their homework when they get home. A lot of students don't have motivation to get up so early, and think school is draining. If schools pay for students to go to school, students may enjoy school better.

Another reason why I think students should get paid to go to school, teens can use that money to help themselves later on in life, whether it's for college, an apartment, or a rainy day. Teens may need to pay different fees as they get older, it could be for school, trying to get accepted into college, or get a job.

Last reason, who wouldn't want free money just for going to school? Think about it: If someone were feeding you $30 a week just to toe the line, that would be pretty great. That money could help you with anything! From saving up for something you really want, or paying off a debt!

That is why I believe schools should get paid to go to school. Districts, start paying your students!!

"But what if I don't want to work out?"

Well, according to the article in readworks, the text states "PE is also fun. "Gym gives me a chance to have some free time, and I throughly enjoy getting a chance to relieve my stress and take a break from my other classes," says cooper Barnes, 13, a seventh grader from Mountain Brook, Ala." This proves that gym should be required for students because PE is healthy and fun for you, and it can help you in adulthood later on. This is why gym class should be required for students.

My first reason for this is that in the article it stated that, " government telling us citizens what to wear would also open up doors for other unfair rules." This matters because it already is unfair to try to control what we wear but if they have the ability to take that privilege away, they definitely would take others away as well. My second reason is," clothing gives people a way to communicate how they feel. Taking that away would hinder people's ability to express themselves." This is important because those who are not allowed to express themselves may become depressed and gain the feeling of restraint.

My last reasoning of why they should not be banned is, "It's your own decision what you put on in the morning, not somebody else's." Said seventh grader Grace Ahlden from Crescent City. This quote is important because even a seventh grader has more logic and sense than the governments that want to keep us from being comfortable in our own skin. Some people get depressed and just need to wear comfort clothes. If we judge them for wearing such clothes, it can increase the stress and depression they already have. Mental health matters more than the clothes on somebody's back. Let us wear sweat-pants and a tank top; stop trying to find issues in people's personality. We shouldn't assume that just because someone was too tired or depressed to put on real clothes that they are lazy and unwilling. It is appalling to hear people compare wearing a swim suit to work or just wearing nothing. Obviously, most people have enough common sense to know that they shouldn't wear PJs to work. People wear things that make them happy and comfortable and that's what we should focus on instead. Leave that 16 year old girl in Walmart alone, she just needs to feel comfort for once. The world isn't going to end if she wears those sweat-pants. Give us the freedom to wear PJs!
