The above image highlights connection and relationships. Relationships and connections make up our lives. They create connections that go beyond simple friendship and have the power to change lives. These connections can take many different forms, starting from the comforting bonds of close friendships and family ties to the attraction of romantic relationships.

Relationships and connections give us a feeling of support and belonging. They allow us to express our happiness and sadness, as well as our hopes and nervousness. We gain empathy and validation from these relationships, and we discover the importance of vulnerability and trust.

Connections/ Relationships are essential to what it is to be human, whether we find comfort in the warmth of your friend's or feel the rush of a romantic affection. They provide us with the opportunity to develop, learn, and improve upon ourselves. As a result, it let's us treasure and protect these relationships, as they are the foundation of our existence and what makes us human.

In relation to practice human connections are especially important, as you need to develop a bond which will help you understand an individuals needs and ensuring their safety.

Referring to the above image, the words written on each hand - walking, hugging, painting, waving, typing, drinking and cooking. These are just some of the examples you use your hand movements for.

These link in with the four hormones of happiness, Endorphins, Oxytocin, Dopamine, Serotonin. These help in reducing the feelings of anxiety and depression while promoting optimism and joy. By doing some easy things, you can naturally increase these feel-good hormones.

Reflecting back on week 6 for the above image done in my creativity lecture, this image is supposed to represent sunshine.

sunshine can be represented in a number of ways to different people some might think of a song some a poem and some the actual sun. but for me its happiness for both the physical sun and the song.

The sun represent good weather which instantly boots peoples moods and the fact that the sun has that effect of individuals moods is a positive thing as now a day we are living in a world of a lot of negativity.

For me the sun represent a few memories such as holidays, summers down in west cork as well as trips to the beach, I believe these are all positive memories of my childhood which I am extremely grateful for and to be able to experience.

The above image, highlights the importance of nature within the social care setting. Nature can benefit all age groups and all levels of abilities. Being out and involved within nature can particularly be helpful for those that are affected by mental health as it boosts endorphins and serotonin.

Your body produces endorphins and serotonin, these two chemicals can make you happy, but they work in different ways. Serotonin contributes to mood and wellbeing stabilisation. It also facilitates the operation of other bodily systems. The main effect of endorphins are to reduce of pain and stress.

Every time I listen to the past time community choir especially the 'Try a little kindness' I get emotional. This choir supports individuals living with dementia, their families and friends and community in Kildare.

This choir was inspired by Glen Campbells, contributions to music this choir are especially impressed by his later years of music as he himself went through the same diagnosis.

This YouTube clip highlights the memories and resemblance they once had when they were growing up and because of creativity by the past time community choir it brought back core memories they once enjoyed. This organisation allows them to relive these memories through music they grew up listen and singing along to.

As Charlie Mcgettigan mentioned the comfort song brings us as with some individuals it may have some resemblance to a memory and if you watch the video carefully you can see on everyone's faces that they were delighted to be able to sing and take part.

written creativity wether its a poem, story or a text it's all classed as written creativity written creativity is a way of expressing ones self and their emotions though words, this poem 'the girl who was afraid to be' is a poem which is lovely written and a poem we can all take something from.

The image I'm getting from this piece of writing is to appreciate the people around you and don't criticise personal opinion, if you're criticising the way to express themselves their going to reflect back on themselves and thinking negatively of ones self.

Basically what I'm getting from this is don't criticise on another individuals work/art as this creativity is a way of expressing their own emotions and reflecting back on the past.

This doesn't have to be done just by poems this can also be done with music, Music is a way of expressing yourself with words as well though dance, the musicians Express their creativity through writing a personal piece of music and express their creativity through writing a personal piece of music and ask listener to express themselves though music by either dancing/ creative movement or singing along to their music. Music/songs tells a personal story of the song writer, it also has a personal story/memories to the listener of the music.
