In the story The Raven by Edgar Allan Poe, I think that the narrator feels grief about losing Lenore and the bird is just up in his head and the bird is not real and the narrator is just so sad he is just making himself sad because he knows that he will never see Lenore again and no one can fix his sadness and he thinks that with Lenore gone he will never be happy again and with that he thinks that he will never see Lenore in afterlife and is putting all of this in his mind. I think this because at the end of the story, he still feels sad and also no one can talk to a bird and in the story, the narrator talks about things about him not seeing Lenore again and that she will never sit in his house again and also I think this because the raven keeps saying "Nevermore" and I think that is him saying that he will never see Lenore again and she will never sit at the couch again and they will never see each other in afterlife and on and on so that is why I think that
