While reviewing the map, I learned that there was a well that the settlers used to pull clean water during starving time. I learned that there were a lot of hardships during their time in Jamestown due to lack of food. I was surprised to hear about what the settlers had to eat during this time. The archaeologists spent a lot of time analyzing the artifacts they found to determine what happened in history.
