What is water scarcity and what causes water scarcity is involved in many countries' and individual freedoms. 80 countries are currently living democratically. The fact that 70% of the world is covered with water causes many people to underestimate the issue of water scarcity. However, only 2.5% of the 70% of fresh water available to humans and animals is available.

So what is water scarcity? The structure of water, which is not yet sufficient for the needs of all living things, is reflected as water scarcity. Although it regularly creates problems as a water problem, it is also undeniably important in social and economic aspects.

The World Economic Forum presented a report in 2014. According to this report, water is one of the risks that eliminates threats in the world. Therefore, the sustainability of fresh water is now a problem for the whole world. Economic sustainability, social sustainability and strategic sustainability are in direct interaction with water scarcity.

Water is essential for life. We can only survive a few days without water. But of course, water is not just for humans. Water also means other living things. Wetland ecosystems consisting of rivers, lakes and deltas affect the surrounding climate conditions and give life to living things. Therefore, the most sought-after thing on other planets is water.

What can we do?

The amount of water consumed in bathrooms and toilets constitutes 70% of the total water consumed at home. For this reason, first of all, it is necessary to make sure that there are no leaks in the toilet, taps and pipes. Even a small drip can cause a loss of 200 liters of water per day. Additionally, water-saving shower heads can reduce the water used by half.

It is important to use water carefully in the bathroom. We use 20-40 liters of water each time we take a shower. Steps can be taken such as spending less time in the shower, turning off the water while soaping, and collecting wasted water in a container while waiting for the water to heat up.

Even though we are not going to make a big impact,doing our part is not a mistake.

We can save water in many ways during our day like:

-turn off when you are brushing your theeth or washing your hands.

-when you are taking a shower and you are putting conditioner on your hair you can close the water.

-when you are washing the dishes or vegetables

Doing these things everyday is going to save a lot of water and money.

Dehydration comes from several causes, and the main cause is us, because we do not consume water but waste it in abundance, in order to protect the world from drought, we must rationalize water consumption, whether in showering, washing cars, and other matters in which water is consumed greatly, building artificial canals to redirect water towards agricultural crops in areas suffering from frought ,utilizing agricultural land by growing crops that do not require a large amount of water.

In conclusion, I want to say that water is a blessing that we must preserve.

Save water today is very important, for us and for our world, that is very polluted and we must do something to save it.

We can start with small actions that with the time can do important steps to save our planet, the Earth.

And because we use it so much we also waste a lot of it in futile ways and things, so is important to know how to waste the least amount of water possible.

We can for example remember to close all of the taps, or we can reuse our cooking water to cook othe things if the water is clean enough. It is very im,portant to reapair pipes because a lot of water could be wasted.

Unfortunatly, we waste a lot of water every day because we don't pay attention to what we do. For example, while we brush our teeth we leave the tap opened for a lot of time! To not waste too many water we should stay less time under the shower, reuse rainwater or do the laundry only if there are lots of clothes to wash. Italy is the first country to waste water in UE and that happens because we don't understand how much is important to don't waste it!

The most famous advise that people say is to close the tap, because if we leave that open, lots of water is wasted.

I advice to use the water with responsability because not every people in the world have got this resource.

On TV everyday I hear milion of problems around the world and one of them is the water.

It is an IMPORTANT gift that the earth give us.

DON'T WASTE THE WATER!!

Take a shower just of 5 minutes or less and save the bath.

We can also install a water-saving toilet flush system.

Only use the washing machine when is fully-loaded.

Use a bucket of water and a ra to wash your car or bike.

Water is very important for Earth. Humans needs water to live, and we must not waste it. There are some tips for saving water. The first is turn off the sink while brushing your teeth. Then prefer the shower to the bath because this way you waste much less water. After if you can, you can install a water purifier in your home

We have to reduce for example less minutes when we take a shower and turn the taps off when we don't need it on.

For example when we wash our hands we have to turn off the tap and to wash the floor it is important to use a bucket to reduce the quantity of water.

• Bring a water bottle to school. At the end of the day, any leftover water can be poured onto the garden.

• Avoid running sprinklers when it’s raining, windy or in the middle of the day (water will evaporate)

• Use the dishwasher or clothes washer only in full loads.

• Use a broom, not a hose, to clean driveways and sidewalks.

• Do not let the faucet run while you clean vegetables.

• Never pour water down the drain when there may be another use for it. Use it to water your indoor plants or garden.

The causes of water pollution are related to different types of pollution:

-Civil pollution: it derives from the discharges of cities when water pours without any purification treatment into rivers or directly into the sea;

-Industrial pollution: made up of different substances that depend on industrial production, some of which are dispersed into the air due to the failure to reduce CO2 emissions;

To tackle the problem of drinking water pollution, solutions are needed at the individual, community and government levels.

On an individual level, it is important to adopt responsible behaviors such as avoiding littering in the water, using non-toxic chemicals, and conserving water.

On an community level, for example the communities can organize awareness campaigns.At the government level, stricter policies and regulations need to be adopted to prevent drinking water pollution.In conclusion, it is important to invest in the research and development of advanced water treatment technologies.
