         <description><![CDATA[<div>Hi, my name is Carlos Vazquez. I am 18 years old and attending my second semester as a music education major at MDC North. I was born in Cuba and grew up in La Vibora. I'm a part-time barista aswell as a part-time music intern. I teach various lessons and ensembles at a local high school, which was recently awarded the state champion title at a recent competition. I like to maximize the efficiency of my life, and keep myself as occupied as possible. I find a lot of peace in music, and i push to comprehend the art as much as possible.&nbsp; I'm a traveller by heart and i am currently looking forward to multiple trips around the world during downtime in between semesters. My ultimate goal through college is to become as culturally educated as possible; and develop my life skills to the max. So far MDC has been a great platform to attend school while working on my career.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Claim, evidence, and reasoning is abbreviated as CER. Every major (and minor) scientific theory begins with a claim, an occurance that a person is curious about. The claim is the first step to uncovering the truth, a scientist whos eye is caught by a phenomenon is likely to begin their hypothesis on why or how something happens, thus a claim. Each section of CER is important, evidence is the data collecting step. An individual could create, or investigate the site of a phenomenon, and begin collecting data on closer inspection. This ties directly to the claim and this step will perfectlv demonstrate if the claim was true or false. Finallv. vou must dissect a reason. There is a reason why this phenomenon happens, and using your data, a professional theory is formed that can then be released to other people. CER is the framework for scientific theories, and is a very easy template to follow.          <title>Species Selection: Leatherback sea turtle</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div><br></div><div>Of all marine turtles, the leatherback sea turtle is the largest, most migratory, and widely distributed. The adult leatherback can weigh up to 2000 pounds and measure 4 to 8 feet long. Its shell is made up of a patchwork of tiny bones and is protected by a thick layer of rubbery skin that has seven longitudinal ridges or keels. The adult's dorsal surface of the head has a noticeable pink patch, and the skin is mostly black with varied degrees of light spotting. The gray upper jaw has a tooth-like cusp on each side, while the lower jaw has an anterior hook.          <title>Will Covid go away</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Covid has taken nearly 6.7 million deaths to this day, the virus has left some very ugly and distracting trails in our history. I was very interested to find how hard the pandemic hit Italy. The city of Bergamo was the epicenter of Covid-19 for a long time, and majorly added to the death toll. Military vehicles were positioned just to transport bodies, Bergamo was in an extreme situation that was arguably overshadowed by China, at the time. With good grace, the Covid-19 pandemic has calmed down since, and it is argued by professionals that the pandemic is likely to end completely. Covid-19 potentially becomes a common sickness that we constantly live with, and vaccinate against constantly. Covid-19 is still potentially dangerous, and could still damage people in severe cases, similarly to the flu. The video presented is a wonderful reflection of what the Coronavirus has done, and what will become of it in our future.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Leatherback turtles live in the Northwestern Atlantic, Western Pacific, and Eastern Pacific. Most nesting is concentrated in Florida, Puerto Rico, and the US Virgin Islands. Leatherbacks have been satellite-tagged and tracked from feeding grounds off Nova Scotia, Canada, to nesting beaches in the Caribbean. Western Pacific leatherbacks feed off the Pacific coast of North America before migrating across the Pacific Ocean to deposit their eggs in Indonesia, Papua New Guinea, and the Solomon Islands. Eastern Pacific leatherbacks breed along the Pacific beaches of Mexico and Costa Rica while foraging in the southern and eastern tropical Pacific Ocean. Leatherback sea turtles are very migrative species and occupy any marine waters, with plausible beaches for nesting. Leatherback turtles also inhabit these tropical beaches, female leatherbacks nest at night on tropical and subtropical beaches. They dig a large body pit to lay their eggs in deep egg chambers/nests.          <description><![CDATA[<div>I was mainly interested by how specific the life cycle of the creature is. Caterpillars' and butterflies' lives are extremely hard-wired, and it causes the animals to reproduce and grow very specifically. I love how they know what the next step in their cycle is, and do everything instinctively.</div>]]></description>
