Reflecting on today's video I think that I need to improve upon actually hitting my fifth position instead of just over crossing the position and going into a weird fourth. I think that in my pirouettes I need to work on my arms being stronger and I need to watch that my elbows do not droop down. From watching the video I also need to get my attitude up in my turn and watch the placement of my
hip in my arabesque.

From today's video I can see that I need to work on my releve throughout all of my turns because it looks as if I could have injured it during my attitude turn because of its placement. I think that my arms were a lot stronger during this exercise however I feel as though I could have reached even farther through my fingers and not have had them so tense. I need to work on relaxing my hands while I am dancing and not holding so much tension in them.

After watching today's video I think that I have improved a lot throughout the last marking period. I felt as if I was much better placed with my upper body and that I could have done four pirouettes if I really pushed up on my releve and held my leg. I think that I need to be more conscious of my right shoulder because it is slightly lifting up while I am turning.

Today we watched a variation in class that was very inspirational! From watching this video you can tell how much training this performer has had. She makes everything appear to be effortless because of how strong of a ballerina she is. I think that if I start working more on control throughout my ballet classes and really using my plié more to land my jumps and pirouettes more smoothly that I could work up to having the same effortless quality she has as a ballerina.

Today we watched a video to help inspire our level to work harder in class. From watching the video you can tell that this dancer has a very strong quality to him. He really uses his plié when running to go into his tour en lair which caused him to get such a great height. After watching this video I found myself really pushing myself in class to become a stronger dancer. By using more plié in almost anything in Ballet you will be able to jump higher and have a better chance of performing more pirouettes. The level on control is also another big factor in his performance. He is really controlling his landings and making his transitions seamless by hitting each position as precise as possible.
