Bethany. The main reason is because of how she handled the situation of not having an arm. In Reality she didn't care too much for her arm, she only cared about having to give up on surfing. After all she find the strength to keep going, maybe she did give up but at the end she kept with her dream of becoming a professional surfer. Probably the message of the movie is to never give up, doesn't matter how bad things look, sooner or later you are going to get through that with your power of will.

Bethamy`s father

He is a cool guy,even a good surfer who thinks that a single problem is not enought to stop you doing what you like,throught the story he was a strong character who supported the main character when she was suffering because of the arm loss,he thought since the beginning that his daughter was able to surf and even when he didn`t,he told her she can in order not to make her cry,in the whole movie the father has been an important role and even a kind of predictable because is the role of a father that is really concerned,but in a cool way i guess and even when seeing the shark who ate bethany`s arm he kept up calm .At the end of the story he taugh us a good example of life or a message that means ,it doesnt matter how far you have to go at the end is a big price that ,you can enjoy the rest of your life.

I think bethany because she followed her dreams, she was so strong and handled the situation. Surfing is everything for her so she never gaveup and that was a lesson for lot of people that have the same situation as her,follow your dreams and never give up.

Bethany has the quality that I like the most and it is faith. Because in spite of that at the beginning she tried to go away from her reality, then with the help of the experiences she lived when she went to the trip, she realized that everything has a purpose in life and that maybe she would not see the good consequences at first but we should wait with faith because everything in life has a purpose.
