While officers give to the community on a daily basis, it is now our time to give back. OD5K is more than just a 5K, it is a day full of activities which may include face painters, inflatables, vendors, k9 demos, SWAT demos, and dunk tanks all surrounded by our main 5K event. I've always supported the law enforcement, and working for the event was the least I could do. The OD5K is a nationwide event that goes on multiple times a year in several states. I worked the sign in booth and also served food for the runners after the event. The event was very beneficial to the community, because it brought hundreds of people together in a good environment.
