We pick out key vocab, events, people, concepts that the students need to know and put them on a power point. One student sits at the front of the room with the screen to their back and the rest of the class needs to get the student to guess the word or phase without using the word of phrase. We have used these as review games before assessments and for Buc block after assessments to remediate students on key terms they missed on the assessments. I started doing this for Sports as well and saw a pretty quick impact in my data.

I have a template where you create a train of dominos that links a term or concept to its definition. I tuen create 6 copies for my flexible group, cut them out and give them to the groups in a paperclip. The terms are used for review for a Unit or you can use these for remediation after an assessment during Buc Block. I give points towards our team competition for the groups that finish 1st, 2nd, and 3rd. Then I go back and explain it and go over it with tue class.
