1. I believed in Santa for a while because i always thought that he was the one that came and filled the stockings. But now that i am 17 I really don't believe in him anymore. I never had a childhood memories of meeting Santa because he never really existed is what i would believe everyday.

THE LEGEND OF ST. NICHOLAS

The legend of Santa Claus can be traced back hundreds of years to a monk named St. Nicholas. It is believed that Nicholas was born sometime around 280 A.D. in Patara, near Myra in modern-day Turkey. Much admired for his piety and kindness, St. Nicholas became the subject of many legends. It is said that he gave away all of his inherited wealth and traveled the countryside helping the poor and sick. One of the best known of the St. Nicholas stories is that he saved three poor sisters from being sold into slavery or prostitution by their father by providing them with a dowry so that they could be married. Over the course of many years, Nicholas’s popularity spread and he became known as the protector of children and sailors. His feast day is celebrated on the anniversary of his death, December 6. This was traditionally considered a lucky day to make large purchases or to get married. By the Renaissance, St. Nicholas was the most popular saint in Europe. Even after the Protestant Reformation, when the veneration of saints began to be discouraged, St. Nicholas maintained a positive reputation, especially in Holland.

1. I believed in Santa clause when i was younger. I believed in Santa till 2008. One Christmas morning i woke up to go get some of my chocolate milkyyy.. I went to the fridge and got my milky turned around saw my parents putting ChristmHe had a reputation for secret gift-giving, such as putting coins in the shoes of those who left them out for himas presents under the tree at 7 AM. I didn't notice tbh i went to bed. That afternoon my parents told me Santa isn't real and they ruined it for me. I thought my parents were just helping Santa since he had so many other kids to take care off...

1. No, I never believed in Santa Claus. I do have fond memories of my Poppy's stories, where he tried to convince me that Santa was real. He told a story of the time he actually saw Santa. He said he had one eye open and one eye closed to trick Santa that he was asleep. He went into all the details of hearing Santa up on his roof, and watching him put the the Lightening Glider sled that he really wanted behind his door. I loved to hear that story over and over.
