         <description><![CDATA[<div>In 1619, around 600 000 slaves were brought to America. They worked in Tobacco and cotton fields. They came from Africa. During the trip (by boats), many slaves died of disease and starvation. They lived in terrible conditions and they were mistreated, whipped and beaten. They were being imposed very strict rules. Slavery stopped in 1865. The triangular trade ended aroud 1900.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>From 1950, the civil rights mouvement wanted to change the discrimination of African-Amercicans. For exemple Rosa Parks stopped to respect the laws for the African-Americans. In 1963, Martin Luther King organised a march, call "March on Washinton" and gave his "I have a dream" speech.<br>And in 1964, the President Lyndon Johnson signed a law, who outlawed segregation, discrimination based of race, national back ground, gender and the Jim Crow laws. And one year later African-amercians had the right for vote.</div>]]></description>
