When the New Deal was being established the women were now being open to some new things. A lot of jobs were opening up for women instead of just for men. This was a great opportunity for a jobless woman. Women were able to be in federal offices. The NYA also helps Women get jobs and wants to start projects for women.

When the great depression started the Mexican migrants started on a rough start. They were being put under a lot of pressure to do their jobs and keep up. President Hoover was deporting Mexicans after the stock market crash. When President Roosevelt was selected he dropped down the percentage of deporting Mexicans by 50%.

Positive for Hispanics

Some positives that the New Deal offered to the Hispanics were CCC and WPA. The CCC would help them enroll in a place where they would have shelter and free care and still get a paycheck. The second positive is that The Hispanics were able to join the NYA ( National Youth Administration). The Hispanics were also sent to California to farm while being held there in a camp. The third positive is that The New Deal programs would offer recovery and relief to the Mexicans who were being deported or treated poorly. The fourth positive is that the Mexicans were able to find place to live after being deported. The fifth positive was that the Hispanics were offered more help than african.

Negative for Hispanics

The negatives for the Hispanics were hard and tough to get through. The first negative is that when President Hoover was President He deported 82,400 Mexicans. A second reason was people were treating them very unwelcoming to jobs so they turned out jobless. A third reason is that most Mexicans didn't meet the requirements for jobs.

The positive for Women was that they were being able to work at jobs outside of the house. The second positive was women were able to express themself more in creative ways. The third reason is that woman would get a big paycheck from the CCC ( Cilivan Conserbation Corps). A fourth reason is that woman were able to be apart of groups and would carrie out bigg project just like men did. The fith positive is that woman were able to become leader and lead people.

The negatives for were that they didn't meet or weren't able to be a part of some of the New Deal programs. The second negative is that during the first few years of the Great Depression women were being forced to stay home and not go out and helped their family pay for bills. The third negative is that woman were being offered and could only do low paying jobs, so they would have to caring for elderly, working in at School lunch, and they would working at nursing schools. The fourth negative is that there was a lot of hate and discrimination. The fifth negative was that woman were being over looking for trying to work in the federal government because they would only look at men for the job.

I think that President Roosevelt's ideas of New Deal should be remember in a good way. My first piece of evidence Men that were struggling to find jobs could just join the CCC if they meet the requirements and make good money with free care. My second evidence is that it was allowing women to finally join the workforce and being able to be their self and get creative of how to express themselves. The men that were in the CCC helped out a lot because they built parks, trails, and cabins. Present day women can do just almost everything men do if not even better than men because we are able to join in.
