Our PD Comm led by the various STs are quite robust. We have termly PD session for the various areas eg SEN, E pedagogy, DI etc. So, the dept would leverage on that and incorporate it in our curriculum where relevant, not compromising the physical bit. We also leverage on the staff to share good practices, especially if they are 'specialised' in specific games. When any of us go for courses, we share it with the department. Our PD, runs both formally and informally and on-going.

Always good to understand colleagues interest or areas that they wish to work on. Then deploying them to look after that particular area to work on. Allow for autonomy and creativity to explore.

Dept and School Direction will be ideal if it can be merge. For example, EPed as a school PD direction to be infuse into the various unit. So for the officer thinking of exploring OE, can the officer be tasked to explore EPed in OE as well.

Can also do that as PLT in teams where they design together task and lessons that can be used immediately across classes.

It is an-ongoing process when the department update one another our progress and share good practices/resources of the lessons carried out. We managed to meet up much more these 2 years, thanks to the cancellation of NSG and various school PE -organised events to focus more on dept PD
