         <description><![CDATA[<div>Garda patrol cars are white or silver in colour, with a fluorescent yellow and blue bordered horizontal strip, accompanied by the Garda crest as livery. A half <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Battenburg_markings">battenburg</a> pattern is used on Traffic Corps cars. Unmarked patrol cars are also used in the course of regular, traffic and investigatory duties. Specialist units, such as the ERU utilise armored vehicles for special operations.</div>]]></description>
