         <description><![CDATA[<p>Date: The attack on Pearl Harbor happened on December 7th, 1941.</p><p><br></p><p>Description: 350 Japanese aircraft damaged the US naval vessel. The attack was taken by surprise killing 2,403 men</p><p><br></p><p>Outcome: Congress had declared war on Japan from all the damage to the 19 Navy ships and this had officially brought America into WW2. </p><p><br></p><p>Medical issues: The war had opened up the opportunity of practicing surgical therapy. The major issue were flash burns, fractures, and shock. </p>]]></description>
