This was a smaller bomb, but it still caused massive amounts of damage and killed over 70,000 people. These bombs ended WWII, and there is still debate today whether they were ethical or not.

Then, Taiwan is the only democratic part of China left, and the US still gives aid to Taiwan, but just never talks about it.
