One Challenge the Constitution faced was deciding whether the federal or state governments should have more power. This was a challenge because many people had different opinions. The Federalists believed in a Strong Central Government while Anti -federalists believed in Stronger State Governments

Divided power between the federal and state government
Protects the rights of citizens

These are all important because it makes sure not one person has absolute power and that citizens are protected
