I would retell little red riding hood by making red riding hood a Unicorn, and a Rainbow Riding Hood! Instead of the Wolf stealing the cookies, she brings her dog and her dog barks at a bush and she puts the basket down, and the dog eats the cookies. The wolf keeps asking for a Cookie and the Unicorn keeps on thinking that it was the Wolf because the Wolf keeps asking the DIno for a Cookie, but instead of a Wolf its a DIno! She also ends up giving her grandma Soup, and the Dog helps up helping, because the Grandma never wanted Cookies.
