Not everyone is a Christian and believes in God. Although it conveys a message that everyone can relate to in the matter of sometimes everyone just needs to put their faith and trust in something, it is centered around trusting in God's will for ones life and not everyone believes that. For a believer in Christianity, this song brings good feelings of hope and trust. The lyrics say "Spirit lead me where my trust is without borders, let me walk upon the waters wherever you may call me." "Where is the Love" doesn't perpetrate stereotypes, however it talks about the gangs and cults that cause issues in America such as the bloods, crips, and the KKK. Aside from my beliefs about these groups, they could be considered culturally offensive, because some people may be a part of these gangs/groups or view them as an important part of our nation's history.
