         <description><![CDATA[<div>I believe the development of Egypt and Mesopotamia are somewhat similar.I say this because in some ways when it came to innovations/technology to make their life easier they were both very creative.Both lands flooded their property but provided them with so much more.Though only Egypt used their rivers to protect themselves from their enemies   </div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>The development between the two was somewhat similar because in Egypt the flood would provide them with new, rich soil for the Egyptians without having the need for irrigation. Mesopotamia was able to irrigate barley, wheat, and peas for long distance trade, Egypt was also successful with long distance trade but done in a different way. Mesopotamia barely had any protection and were attacked by the invaders, while Egypt had a vast river which protected them from both war and diseases</div>]]></description>
