While the execution was debated among fans, it still shows an interesting use of engaging multiple platforms.

Dr Who has been a TV series since 1963 but now also includes The Big Finish audio programs that compliment Dr Who with extra stories. There are also The Companion Chronicles which features stories involving the Doctors companions without the Doctor. There are also audio productions of Doctor Who spin offs such as Torchwood & The Sarah Jane Chronicles.
