I was a student athlete that attended high school in Dallas, Texas. These were both selective schools and I was honored to get an opportunity to attend both of them. Without the help and attention from my teachers, I would've never realized I was on the spectrum of autism. Their dedication to me pushes me to want to make a difference in students lives, just like they did mine.

I looked into business for the first two years of my schooling. I was uncertain after the first year, and my lack of success if it was something I still wanted to pursue. After a lot of thinking, talking, and looking at all of my options. I decided that High school English Teaching and Football Coaching sounded like something right up my alley.

When I joined the teaching school, I could tell immediately I was going to enjoy it. I caught myself not feeling the desire to daze off in class and interested in the teachers lectures. Learning about learning and teaching strategies was something that I found interesting. It was a cool feeling knowing that I had finally found something I enjoyed learning about.
