The legislative branch is controlled by the U.S. Congress. This is where laws are made and begin to be approved. The executive branch is controlled by the&nbsp; President. The president controls the military and has the power to veto laws. The judicial<br>Branch is controlled by the Supreme Court. This is the branch that enforces the laws made and approved by the other two branches. </div>]]></description>

Both have different requirements. <br><br><strong>House of Representatives <br></strong><br><sup>In order for someone to be a representative of the house they must…</sup></div><ul><li><sup>Be at least 25 years old&nbsp;</sup></li><li><sup>U.S. born citizen&nbsp;</sup></li><li><sup>Live in the state they represent for at least 7 years</sup></li></ul><div><sup>The term limit for a representative is 2 terms.<br><br></sup><strong>Senate <br><br></strong><sup>In order for someone to be elected into the Senate they must&nbsp;</sup></div><ul><li><sup>Be at least 30 years old</sup></li><li><sup>Be a U.S. citizen&nbsp;</sup></li><li><sup>Live in the state he/she is representing&nbsp;</sup></li></ul><div><sup>The members of the senate serve 6 terms.<br><br></sup>The Legislative branch has the responsibility of creating and approving laws. Without the approval of the Congress, no laws can be put into place.<br><br>The only person that can stop laws that are approved by the Congress is the president, but Congress still has the power to overrule the presidents veto. This is the way that the Legislative branch is able to check the power of the judicial branch.</div><div><br></div>]]></description>

         <title>Judicial Branch </title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>The Judicial branch is in charge of making sure the laws and constitution are being followed by both the citizens and the people of the government.&nbsp;<br><br>There are no requirements stated in the constitution for someone to be a justice of the supreme court.&nbsp;<br><br>The supreme court justices are elected by the president and can serve in 18 year terms.&nbsp;<br><br>The judicial branch is able to check the power of the other branches through judicial review. This is the idea that the judicial branch should be able to review laws passed and the actions of the other branches to make sure they are constitutional. </div>]]></description>
