He meets many new kids including a kid who is known as "The Colonel." He also meets a girl named Alaska. He is in love with Alaska. After many complicated issues he finally realizes he loves Alaska. Him and Alaska hang out one night. Alaska leaves in the middle of the night to visit her boyfriend. She dies in a car crash and everyone is devastated. I think this book is one for young adults. I really liked this book and that's why I am recommending it to other middle schoolers.

After a while all things are well.
