I bring more stories all the time, so don't forget to check them out! I try to find the most scariest ones I can find. Please tell me if there are any typos or if something seems off. (Note: I do not own any of these stories, and I do not copy and paste them)

Home Alone

You are home alone, and you hear on the news about the profile of a murderer who is on the loose. You look out the sliding glass doors to your backyard, and you notice a man standing out in the snow. He fits the profile of the murderer exactly, and he is smiling at you. You gulp, picking up the phone to your right and dialing 911. You look back out the glass as you press the phone to your ear, and notice he is much closer to you now. You then drop the phone in shock. There are no footprints in the snow. It's his reflection.

The Statue

A few years ago, a mother and father decided they needed a break, so they wanted to head out for a night on the town. They called their most trusted babysitter. When the babysitter arrived, the two children were already fast asleep in bed. So the babysitter just got to sit around and make sure everything was okay with the children. Later that night, the babysitter got bored and went to watch TV, but she couldn't watch it downstairs because they did not have cable downstairs. So, she called them and asked them if she could watch cable in the parent's room. The parent's said it was OK, but the babysitter had one final request. She asked if she could if she cover up the statue outside the bedroom window with a blanket or cloth, because it made her nervous. The phone line was silent for a moment, and the father who was talking to the babysitter at the time said, "Take the children and get out of the house... We don't own a statue." The police found both of the children and the babysitter slumped in pools of their own blood within three minutes of the call. No statue was found.

Heavy Footsteps

I was in the basement watching TV in the dark while my whole family was upstairs. As I'm chilling there, I hear footsteps coming down the basement stairs, and while I normally can tell which family member it is by the heaviness of the steps, I didn't recognize these ones. The footsteps stopped before the bottom of the stairs, so I called out saying, "Oh, ha ha, so scary, I know it's you," thinking that it was my brother or someone trying to scare me. I look back at the TV, and the footsteps start again and I whip my head back to the stairs just in time to see a dark figure go into a side room that has glass doors. It's pretty much pitch black, so I assumed whoever it was, was standing right behind the glass looking at me. That's when I started to get scared and so I ran to the lights and flipped them on, only to find the room empty. My entire family was still upstairs. It was too spooky.

How Lucky You Are

Spring break of 2010. My buddies and I decided to camp out on an island at a local lake. One night as we are cooking food and drinking beer, a canoe floats by with one guy in it. He asks how we're doing and we invite him to our island for grilled meat and beers. Being in South Arkansas, we naturally assume that everyone is friendly and wants to hang out. His name was Curt and he was super friendly but really seemed to be sad. We asked him what was up and he replied, "Oh, nothing really, it's just that my friends are probably worried about me." He looked at me and winked. "They'll find out soon enough." That still haunts to this day. Everyone liked Curt and, noticing that it was getting dark and he had been drinking, we offered to let him stay with us that night. He declined, saying that he had to get to where he was going and he seemed very adamant about that. I asked where he was headed thinking maybe we could give him a ride on a jet ski or something. Curt ignored the question and said, "You boys don't know how lucky you are are." He hopped in his canoe and left. We didn't think much about it. The next morning we woke up early to do some fishing. As we're fishing, a police boat pulls up. The officer asks if we're part of the search party that found the body. We obviously have no clue what he is talking about so he tells us a story about a young man in a canoe that disappeared last week. Apparently divers found his body at the bottom of the lake two days before. The young man's name was Curt Clark. This was so freaky for us that we all packed up and left camp that day.
