After watching the film, I firmly believe that the director is trying to prove that humans only create for self-gratification. We, as a society, are perceived to be un-fulfilled after a lack of children on earth.
 In one of the scenes there was an advertisement displayed about clothing for dogs. Would the company have created that just to prove they could still gratify themselves through the creation of a product that would harness money from the general population.
