Alex started going to LES when he was three years old for speech services and he will turn 18 next week. Those 15 years showed us how much Mrs. Doherty cared for her school community and all of those in it. From Andrew (now 10th grade) to Aidan (8th grade) and Ava (5th grade), we send our most heartfelt sympathies. Eva (Class of 2017) and Hattie (2nd grade). I spent much time in the office over all these years, volunteering, classroom help and PTA meetings among other reasons that put me in front of Mrs. Doherty's desk. She always had a smile and a kind word, even though she was clearly busy with the day to day hustle and bustle. I was looking forward to a return to the building so that our chats could continue as they have over the course of almost a decade now.
