Of course, there is always something to critique. The main thing that sticks out to me is that Amy's mother doesn't care much about her, and I wish the author had expanded on what happened to her. Her mother got in a crash that we as readers don't know much about, and it's stated that the drugs are what causes her mother to grow distant.
