         <description><![CDATA[<div>The cells in the heart help the heart pump blood. These cells must be able to shorten and lengthen their fibers and the fibers must be flexible enough to stretch. These functions are critical to the proper form during the beating of the heart. Cardiac pacemaker cells carry the impulses that are responsible for the beating of the heart. Pumping blood is one of the most important things that anything in the body can do because without the ability to pump blood everyone would die. because if your heart stops pumping blood, then the blood stops flowing to all of the other organs and you would most likely go into cardiac arrest. </div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Cardiomyocyte cells in the heart specifically are also really important because they are the cells that make up the hearts themselves (they are the chief cells type of the heart) Because of this they help control the contractions of the heart. Cardiomyocytes are capable of coordinated contraction, controlled through the gap junctions of intercalated discs. The gap junctions spread action potentials to support the synchronized contraction of the myocardium. Controlling the contractions of the heart is very important because it proves that cardiac cells can control things properly which is why they would be a great fit for President. </div>]]></description>
