         <description><![CDATA[<div>El'yez Mu'arif (24)<br><br>2. In today's lesson, I learnt how to make Ondeh-Ondeh. My task was to cut the Gula Melaka into 8 small pieces to be placed inside the Ondeh-Ondeh. Using the knife to cut the Gula Melaka was tough as it was quite hard in the circular shape. <br>3. The problem was at the start, almost everyone did not start their fire as we all mistook to only turn on the switch and not the gas. So we all wasted 10 minutes on figuring that out but we still manage to cook everything within the time limit. I hope not to repeat such a mistake of not getting instructions clear.<br><br></div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Audric Jan Marcus Mudjadi(20)<br>2) From the lesson, we learnt how to cut the gula melaka, boil water and kneading the dough for the ondeh-ondeh. I was tasked to knead the dough by putting 4 tablespoon of flour, a few drops of green food-colouring and artificial pandan flavour. After then we made them into ball shape and dropped them into boiling water.<br>3) A few weaknesses were me trying to figure out how much water or flour was needed for the dough as I was really confused at that time and thought that I was doing things wrongly. Another weakness is making the dough a ball shaped one with the Gula Melaka inside the dough. If I want to improve on that I think i should look up online on how to roll the dough better. Therefore I can make ondeh-ondeh like the ones you can buy at Bengawan Solo.<br><br><br></div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Tang Wen Xi (38)<br>2. From the lesson, I learnt how to turn on the gas, turn on the heater and boil the water. I also learnt how to cut the gula melaka, put the gula melaka into the dough, make the dough into a nice spherical shape, and then putting it into the boiling water.<br>3. One of the difficulties that I faced was how I receive instructions from Madam Saffiah. Whenever she call all of us to listen to her, we usually didn't quieten down immediately in order for her to speak to us and let us know of further instructions. I really do hope that we can receive instructions extremely well and respond to Madam Saffiah as soon as possible, therefore not wasting time, as thus proceed with the lesson as normal.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div><br>He Qixin (26)<br>2. From the lesson, I learnt how to make Ondeh-Ondeh. I learnt how to boil water, roll the dough into spherical shapes, cut the gula Melaka as I didn't know how to into smaller pieces and put them into the dough, putting them into the boiling water and cover the ondeh-ondeh with grated coconut.&nbsp;<br>3. One of the problems was that we didn't know how to start the gas. It is only after a while where Ms Safiah told us to start the switch. I hope not to make such a mistake again where I could not follow instructions. Another weakness was that I could not cut the gula melaka into pieces, as I felt that pressing on the knife was too painful and asked someone else to help me. In the midst of all the fun I also learnt how to boil water roll the dough into spherical balls and how to cut the gula Melaka. I also learnt how to be patient while doing this kind of tiring activities and also learnt the struggle needed to go through to make delicious kinds of food.&nbsp;<br>3.One of the problems I faced was doing all the work in my own and it was very tiring cause I did not have anybody to help me as I partnered Ms Safiah another problem was when I needed to start the stove I didn't know how to as I wasn't paying attention.          <description><![CDATA[<div>2.Today's lesson, I learnt how to make Ondeh-Ondeh. It was very intresting as I had never heard of this food ever before. Firstly, we had to boil water to boil the finished Ondeh-Ondeh. After that, I started to chop to Gula Melaka which was quite easy even though it was quite scary while my partner made the dough. I feel I can do better by boiling the Ondeh-Ondeh longer, giving it a darker colour and not have a raw feeling to it.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Sherlyn Tang(12) </div><div>2) I have learnt the steps of how to make the ondeh ondeh and how to knead the dough and I also learnt how to see if the ondeh ondeh is cooked by seeing its Colour difference and when it starts to float</div><div>3) I also realise that my weakness are how to decide the amount of water and flour when I am kneading the dough at first I accidentally put too much water making the dough looked very weird and I then decided to put more flour and when I am putting the flour I then realised that I put too much and had to add some water,this made me learnt about the amount of flour and water needed I think next time I will put the water and flour slowly and see if it's ok and not put too much at one time as I may put a little bit over</div>]]></description>

I learnt how to make the dough , kneed and boil the dough . I learnt how to mix the flour , colouring , flavouring and water to make the dough . After making the dough we had to shape the dough into sphere shaped . Then , we had to add gula Melaka to the dough . I learnt the proper way of adding the gula Melaka to the dough . We then had to boil the dough . I learnt that we had to wait for the dough to rise to know that it is cooked . After removing the dough from the pot , we had to drain the water out . The cooked dough had a sticky texture . So we had to roll it in coconut shavings so that when we eat it would not be sticky .</div><div>3. The difficulty I faced was trying to get the dough to the right consistancy . The dough could not be too dry nor can it be too moistured . I had to either add more water or flour to ensure that the dough would be at the recommended consistancy.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Aidan Won(40)<br>1-I learnt how to make ondeh ondeh, work with the stove and cut the gula melaka. I also learnt that only when the ondeh ondeh is cooked it will float on the boiling water.<br>2-The problem I faced was at the end when my partner and I were left with a small amount of dough but still left with  quite a bit of gula melaka.I had to stuff all the gula melaka in the small amount of dough we had left.          <description><![CDATA[<div>Ryan Ueda Teo (34)<br>I learnt how to make ondeh ondeh and how to use the stove and the proper way of cuttimg the gula melaka and when the ondeh ondeh is fully cooked it will rise to the top of the boiling water<br>The problem was that when i accidentally used too much dough for one or two of the ondeh ondehs and had a bit lesser dough than needed to put the gula melaka inside.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>1) I learned how to make Ondeh-Ondeh by making the dough filling it with gula melaka ,boiling it and them rolling it in grated coconut .<br><br>2)I had many difficulties as being an amateur cook i did not know if my dough was too thick or too thin . i also have problems decided what to do with the amount of excess dough and in the end i ended up wasting a bit of the dough as the ondeh-ondeh already had a lot of dough . i had difficulties with shaping the ondeh ondeh as my gula melaka was cut into very awkward sizes and it was hard to make a sphere for the ondeh ondeh . I also could not tell if the ondeh ondeh was cooked or not as some of them were barely floated and i wasnt sure if they were floating or not .<br>&nbsp;</div>]]></description>
