She would take games such as Candy Land and assign a test question to each square. A student would then roll a dice and land on a test question, if they got the question right, they would be allowed to stay on the square. This added a fun, competitive way to learn for young students.

Prezi was a tool that we often used in class to allow for students to work together. A prezi is very different from a traditional slide show. It has the ability to float from section to section in an entertaining way that captures a student's attention. Building a prezi was also something that we would do with other students. This would allow groups of people to work on the same project. The prezi would also show who wrote what so the teacher would be aware of each student's participation in the group project. The presentation of the prezi was also something that students looked forward to. We would roll a large foam dice and whatever number it landed on, was that team's turn to present

Foam Dice

The foam dice was often something that my teacher would bring out so students roll for turns to speak or pass it around the room to others allowing them to speak. As she would start off the day in class, we would open up discussion by all sitting in a circle and passing a ball back and forth. Whoever had the ball, had the chance to speak. The student could ask a question, tell a story, or make a joke. It was a great way to start the day and allowed every eager student to share any exciting news that they had heard. Through this, I believe students learned to work with each other while also learning how to sit and listen to other students.

A blog is something that I believe my teacher could have incorporated into class. It is a way of allowing students too keep notes on what they are doing and learning. It is also a way for students to read others and see how their peers are doing with the same material. I believe keeping a journal of your learnings can be en courting for a student because it can show how a students learning hard progressed over time.

Students were told to write down the questions that they would miss on Kahoots on flashcards. This way the student would have a personalized study set of terms that they have struggled with. My teacher would also walk around the room and help students understand what they missed and why they missed it.

I believe my teacher could have used group me as a way to communicate with students. In a world where students are starting to rely more on technology and communicating informally, Group Me is a great tool. It allows students to communicate as if they were texting each other, something they do quite a lot.
