It`s okay not to collect the phones at the beginning of a lesson, but have strikt rules. If the students are not following collect this phone for the rest of the lesson. The students should learn to control.

clips: producing videos with your own video, add music, add an effect, stickers, cut the video, put clips together and make a life text while recording a video (really less text with explanation)

English lessons with Gymglish:
This app provides you with several tasks that reflects on a text you read before you answer the tasks. The tasks involves knowledge from the text so it is a lot about understanding the vocabulary and remembering.

TicTic: just for apple products, a lot of things are locked

Is it okay to use phones?
Teachers should make the students hand in their phones. It can be very difficult for children to set their own limits so the teacher should make the rules for them.

Clips:
An app where you can make short film clips. You can talk while filming and the app will suggest subtitles. (You have to speak slowly and clearly though).

English Grammar (7.-9. kl.):
Very handy and useful. You can easily look up all things grammar. Not the most exciting app.
