The 2025 supernatural film concluded with the closing chapter of the movie, starring Vera Farmiga and Patrick Wilson as the real-life paranormal investigative duo Lorraine and Ed Warren.

In the film, the Warrens’ final case before retirement revisits the 1973 Smurl Family haunting in Pennsylvania, involving entities living inside an antique wooden mirror gifted to their daughter.

“The Devil has come to Pennsylvania,” one of the lines a radio broadcaster said as the Smurl family case garnered media attention.

Moreover, one of the main characters that the movie introduced is Judy Warren, the couple’s only daughter, who is portrayed as someone who has the same psychic ability as her mother, Lorraine.

“The Conjuring: Last Rites” has a 2-hour and 15-minute running length and an R16 rating, currently showing in Philippine cinemas.
