Compare: When it comes to the similarities between these stories, both stories have women that create chaos in the world. Pandora, from the Greek myth, releases all of the bad things onto the world. Eve, from the Christian myth, eats from the Tree of Knowledge, learns everything that God does, and is kicked out of the Garden of Eden.

Contrast: The creation of the world is very different for these stories. The Greek creation story has creation from a Egg and then many Greek gods create the universe. In the Christian story, there is one God and he creates everything out of nothing.

Both stories reveal what is important to those cultures. For the Greeks, even though there are a lot of negative things in the world, there is always a little bit of hope leftover. When it comes to Christian beliefs, we are meant to believe that everything God makes is good and purposeful. God created beauty in so many different ways.
