         <description><![CDATA[When water undergoes electrolysis, it splits into H+ (hydrogen) and OH- (hydroxide) ions. H+ ions move to the cathode, and OH- ions move to the anode, resulting in hydrogen gas and oxygen gas production. This demonstrates the movement of ions in electric fields.]]></description>
