Dwight Eisenhower waited until June 6.<br><br>-The Allies actually landed on 5 different beaches Utah, Omaha, Gold, Juno, and Sword.<br><br>-There were many conferences because D-Day required detailed planning to accomplish.<br><br>-The Allied Forces only launched 8 Divisions, whereas Germany had 55 divisions in France, despite the lower amount of soldiers, the Allies succeeded.<br><br></div><div>-The U.S. used 14 billion pounds of supplies to Allied Soldiers.</div>]]></description>
