To give students something that they are trained to do. To also use the poer of silence to engage students. Also try calling out names and make jokes out of everyting in a nice way.<br><br></div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>I was working with Edward on the solid mechanics and dynamics module (206MAE) in semester 2 2020/2021. He is a very experienced teaching staff and knows what to make a good lecture for the students. His explanation of tutorial questions is clear and easy to understand. A short recap of the knowledge at the beginning of the lecture helps the students to pick up what they have learnt. At the end, a revision of the process of problem solving wraps everything up. He also pays attention to the student engagement during lecture delivery. He always encourages the students to involve in the learning.          <description><![CDATA[<div>Edward is part of 206MAE solid Mechanics and Dynamics and 326MAE stress and dynamics modules. I have observed Edward teaching in both face to face and online sessions. For the face to face session Edward created a very engaging session in which he combine theories and practical's of the topics. The main strength of Edwards in this session are:&nbsp;<br>·&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; Giving a recap for the topic before solving the examples are really good idea. Will help students to remember theoretical concepts from the lecture.</div><div>·&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;Encouraging students to solve the examples in the class, and also encourage them to thin critically about the subject while solving the examples are vital, and he did it&nbsp; very well .<br><br>For Online session, Edward has delivered a very engaging sessions in which he start by recapping previous knowledge and link it to the session, He provide examples and solve problems with different difficulties.
