Her name is pronounced like "scissor".  Like many other successful artists such as: Jay Rock, Kendrick Lamar, ScHoolboy Q. Ab-Soul, Black Hippy, and Isaiah Rashad she is signed with the record label Top Dawg Entertainment. This record contains contemporary R&B, Neo-soul, and rap features. The rap features include Kendrick Lamar, Isiah Rashad, and Travis Scott. She also has a feature from R&B artist James Fauntleroy. My favorite songs are "Love Galore", "Doves in the Wind", and "The Weekend". Her soulful voice over heavy bass lines caress me. She speaks of distress with a sense of attitude. For some odd reason, I find this attractive emotionally and musically. I first heard of this album because I follow several of Top Dawg Entertainment's artists on social media. I was hesitant to listen to the album. It was an artist I had never heard of.
