Charade and Taboo is another group game that can get the class really going and excited. WARNING this may make the class a little to competitive when it gets going. But for the theme of the chapter it can be perfect.

The theme that i saw in the chapter was cause and effect and that can be our big over all picture of the chapter if you all agree. Cause and effect of Simone Says can be if you Lose your of just that simple. For Hang man You have 2 groups winning group gets point towards the class and the losing group get a extra assignment on what the word was the had to guess. For Charades or Taboo i feel this would grab the classes attention real quick and make everyone competitive. All of these can be a Cause and Effect Deal.

So why is the theme of cause and effect important to each of you? Because not only is this principle constantly illustrated throughout the Bible, it is also seen outside of the Bible in your own lives. But beyond just the blatant action causing a certain effect to happen, there are deeper meanings to those occurrences. In the Bible...(make references to the stories told on pgs. 51-52). Then explain the significance of those references and the how they connect to the theme.

So as homework, I challenge you to take a look at your own life and find instances where your actions have caused significant effects to yourself or others and dissect that occurrence. Find the deeper effect that your action caused beyond what you find on the surface. And from now on, try to be more aware of the deeper significance between the correlation. With this awareness, you can now be able to have a clearer vision of how God uses cause and effect to teach us lessons and more about who He is as our Creator.

A game of charades or taboo will be played and the 2 teams (the class will be divided in half) will choose from stories discussed in the chapter. The winning team will have this option: give the losing team an extra assignment (like a paper) or do nothing. If the winning team decides to give the losing team a paper then they will have to do the paper too. This goes into the theme of cause and effect/the punishment fits the crime.
