Before entering the park we stopped to eat something, and while we were doing it, by accident one of my brothers spilled soda on my pants, but I didn't bother, it even gave me some laughter, that wasn't going to ruin that day. Once we were inside, what I liked the most was to see many animals that normally you can't see up close, like macaws, titi monkeys or snakes, I liked it because I have always liked to be close to nature. I loved sharing my birthday with my family, and in the end, I enjoyed everything very much, I felt very happy to have lived it together with them.

From the time I woke up that day we were preparing for a Christmas dinner in which many of my dad and mom's relatives would be there. My sister and I played with some cousins. We were having fun all day. The best part of that day was at night when we all stayed in the living room sharing time with family, laughing and talking. I especially remember this, around 9:30 we had rice with chicken that my grandmothers prepared. And before opening all the presents, they put on music and my relatives started to dance while my sister, my cousins, and I played outside with a ball. Until midnight came and we started to distribute the presents. I remember that day there were many presents but more than all that, the special thing about that Christmas was everything we did and how we shared.

I was jumping when I landed badly and twisted it. At first, I didn’t think it was serious, so I kept playing. My foot was hurting, but I didn’t stop. I was riding all the attractions while I was pretending everything was fine. When I was walking to another ride, I stepped wrong again and the pain got worse. I was limping, but I didn’t want anyone to worry. My teachers were asking if I was okay, but I said yes every time. I didn’t let them take me to the nurse because I wanted to enjoy the day. I spent the whole day as if nothing had happened. The next day, when my foot was still swollen, my parents took me to the doctor. He said I had a sprain. Even though it hurt, I had a lot of fun on the trip.

I was studying for my exam while my friends were playing soccer in the park. They were laughing and having a great time, but I was focused on my books. As I was reading, I suddenly remembered detail that I had forgotten to note down. My friends were getting tired and hungry, so they decided to head home. I was still studying, determined to ace the exam. As the sun was setting, I finally took a break and joined my friends. We were all chatting and joking around when my mom called to ask how my studying was going. I told her I was making good progress and feeling more confident. My friends were impressed by my dedication and wished me luck on the exam. As we were parting ways, I felt a sense of accomplishment.

Then, much later, I talked to my dad so he could finish teaching me, and between my grandfather and my dad, I started driving the car, each time trying to gain more experience or control.

It was being a very good feeling to know how to drive, because it is something I am passionate about.

It was December, and the air was cold but full of excitement. After months of training and hard work, we had finally reached the final match of the football championship. I still remember how nervous I felt that morning I could barely eat breakfast.

The game was tough. Both teams played with everything they had, and the score was tied 1-1 until the last ten minutes. That’s when I saw my chance. A teammate passed me the ball, and I sprinted down the field, dodging defenders. I shot the ball just outside the box and it went in! We took the lead 2-1.

The final whistle blew, and we all ran onto the field, shouting and hugging each other. We were champions! The trophy ceremony was unforgettable.

It was my first time in a competition, and I had never seen the sea until then, so I was able to go thanks to that. ]]> 2025-08-05 21:34:51 UTC https://padlet.com/luisaballen/arp3pfe57osqdfey/wish/3536269273 https://padlet.com/luisaballen/arp3pfe57osqdfey/wish/3549453557 These last few days have been difficult for me because in my soccer school I am the only goalkeeper and well that's fine with me because I'm the only one going to play in all the games, but I can't push myself to the level I want since I don't have a competition to be at the highest level, in addition to this on August 9th the day before the ICFES I had to travel to Villavicencio to play and sadly we lost, being eliminated from our last national tournament and leaving me without the teacher who has coached me since 2017, and the following weekend in the league we were eliminated on penalties so it has been a strong emotional blow, and on Tuesday they gave us the news that where we have trained all our lives they are going to use the space to build apartments so we have to look elsewhere, and despite the fact that it is my last year at that school, I have one last tournament left and I hope to say goodbye as a champion with my team and leave happy.
