I was about four years old when I started to read, and from then on out, I ALWAYS had a book in my hand. Everyone I came across called me a bookworm, saying I devoured anything with words. And I did. If I heard something that sounded pretty or poetic, I was at full attention.
I was always the top reader in our school, and it slowly started to develop into a love for English and Reading classes. I even went as far as LOVING to write essays. (Crazy - I know)

By the time I was in Middle School my family had started to call me a Book Dragon. I was known to hoard anything with written words. Pages of notes from class, the backs of cereal boxes that had text on them, and ESPECIALLY books. At this time I had started to develop my skill of writing. I went out of my way to do essays, always giving more than asked, and loving it.

When I was introduced to the term, it became the next stage in my metamorphosis cycle. At the time I had no idea what I would become when I burst from my chrysalis. For then, I only knew that I loved to learn. I sat in the library during lunch, reading and learning things my classmates had no interest in knowing.

At this time I began the craft of a wordsmith. I forged my stories with the art of the English Language. I became entranced with the different things words were capable of. I fell in love with the idea that words were everything, because without them we had no way of communicating. They gave meaning to our feelings and held all the knowledge on the planet. 26 letters that are everything. It gave me power to know that I could write my story however I pleased, which made me want to help others do the same.
