I learned that you can turn electromagnets off and on. Also when you move the magnetic field further away from the object it becomes weaker.I liked the way we used the balloon with the water

I learned that only some materials are attracted to magnets, and that they attract iron. I also learned that magnets are Thousands of years old. Another thing I learned is that the strongest places on a magnet are north and south poles. The farther away from the magnet, the weaker the pull is. I really liked learning about magnets! I hope we can do something like this again! My favourite part was the bending water experiment. Thank you Mrs.Shultz!

I learned that if you drop a magnet the forces get jumbled up so it doesn't stick as well.I also learned what catogories they are put in.I cant wait to do the balloon in water it sounds fun. I love science.

I learned that if you make the magnet close to the other one it sticks together but if you go far away from it will not stick together. I love science alot. do you like science?

I learned a lot in this unit I learned that you can bend water and that you can move paperclips in oil and water and corn syrup but just a little. The corn syrup moved a little because it is really sticky, and the oil was not so sticky that's why the paper clips moved a little bit more and the water is not sticky like the oil or the corn syrup.

I learned that magnets can either Repel OR they can be attracted by each other. I thought this was a fun pathway (I couldn't think of any other word than pathway..) that we did, and I liked the part where we could MAYBE make water bend with static electricity. Thank you Mrs. Shultz!

   _{I learned why magnets repel each other  and that you  bend water with a balloon that has static electricity on it and I think it is very cool that even in water,corn syrup and oil magnets can still work and that when you rub a balloon in your hair it can stick to a wall.}

I learned that when they found out the rocks attract iron they called it a magnet because they came from magnesia also north and a other north from a magnet will repel each other.
